CVFormatic is a brand of Parshwanth Formatting (OPC) Pvt Ltd, also trading as VP Internationals. We provide AI-powered CV and resume formatting services for recruitment agencies. Our website is cvformatic.com and our app is at app.cvformatic.com.
What data we collect
We collect different types of data depending on how you interact with us:
Request Access form submissions: Agency name, contact name, email address, phone number, country, monthly volume estimate, template requirements, feature preferences, workflow preference, and any message you include. We also record your IP address and browser type for security purposes.
CV/resume files (app users): When you use our formatting service, you upload candidate CVs and resumes. These files are processed through our AI pipeline and stored temporarily to deliver the formatted output.
Account data: Username, email address, and login credentials for app access.
Analytics data: If you consent to cookies, we collect anonymous browsing data through Google Analytics (pages visited, time on site, referral source, device type). No personally identifiable information is included in analytics.
How we use your data

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
CV/resume data handling
Uploaded CVs and resumes are processed using the Anthropic Claude API. The content is sent to Anthropic's API for AI-based formatting only. Anthropic does not use API inputs for training. Processed files are stored on our servers for a limited period to allow you to download formatted outputs. We do not retain CV content longer than necessary for service delivery.
Third-party services
- Anthropic (Claude API): AI processing of CV content. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Hostinger: Web hosting and server infrastructure. EU-based servers available.
- Google Analytics: Anonymous website analytics (only if you consent to cookies).
Cookies
Our website uses a cookie consent banner. We only load analytics cookies after you give consent. Essential cookies (session management for the app) do not require consent as they are necessary for the service to function.
Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Request data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time

Data retention
Access request form data is retained for the duration of our business relationship plus 12 months. Uploaded CV files are retained for a limited period after processing. Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Database access is restricted and password-protected. We regularly update our server software and apply security patches.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
