About the service
CVFormatic is an AI-powered CV and resume formatting service operated by Parshwanth Formatting (OPC) Pvt Ltd (also trading as VP Internationals). We format candidate CVs and resumes into your agency's branded templates. By using our service, you agree to these terms.
How it works
You purchase page bundles upfront. Each page of a CV or resume uses one page from your balance. A 3-page CV uses 3 pages. You upload CVs through our web app, and our AI pipeline formats them into your configured template. Formatted documents are delivered as DOCX files.
Pricing and payment
Prices are listed on our website in GBP and USD. All page bundles are one-time purchases with no recurring charges. Page bundles are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused pages expire after 12 months. Add-on services (third person conversion, tense change, PDF upload, human quality check) are priced per page and configured at the account level.
Formatting guarantee
If a formatted CV output contains more than 5 issue types, we will perform a free human quality check and correction. Issue types are counted by category, not by individual occurrence. For example, three instances of a missed location count as one issue type.
Refund policy
If you are not satisfied with the service after your first 5 formatted CVs, contact us for a full refund of your remaining unused page balance. After 5 CVs, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We do not refund pages that have already been consumed (used to format a CV). Contact contact@cvformatic.com for refund requests.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the right to upload and process the CVs and resumes you submit to our service.
- You are responsible for verifying formatted outputs before sending them to your clients.
- You must not use the service to process documents that are not CVs or resumes.
- You must keep your account credentials secure and not share them with unauthorised users.
Content ownership
You retain full ownership of all CVs and resumes you upload. We do not claim any rights over your content. Formatted outputs are yours to use without restriction. Our templates, branding, and software remain our intellectual property.
Data handling
Uploaded documents are processed using the Anthropic Claude API. We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not use your CV content for any purpose other than delivering the formatting service.
Service availability
We aim to keep the service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows and unexpected outages may occur. We will notify active users of planned maintenance where possible. Processing times vary depending on document complexity and server load.
Accuracy
Our AI formatting pipeline is designed for high accuracy but is not perfect. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy on every CV. Our formatting guarantee (5 issue types threshold) provides a safety net. We recommend reviewing formatted outputs before sending them to clients.
Limitation of liability
CVFormatic is a formatting tool. We are not responsible for decisions made based on formatted CV outputs. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the page bundle in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Account termination
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity. Unused pages from terminated accounts due to violations are not refundable.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes. We will notify active users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Mumbai, India.
